Other Activities:
1.There will be simultaneous translation English to Thai to assist Thai speakers and there will be translation of Thai to English at the Ratchathani Asoke presentation to assist those who can not understand Thai.
2.Phra Payutto's opening presentation will be by video as he is not physically well enough to travel to the conference. His presentation is in English. Copies of the Video will be made available (subtitled in Thai) for purchase at a cost of 100 Baht.

In spite of his health problems, he is willing to meet with a small group of people after the conference. If you are interested in being a part of this group please email your request to Linda Nowakowski.
3.There will Poster presentations of additional papers not accepted for session presentation.
4.There will be Publishers' displays from publishers and retailers distributing materials of particular interest to the conference attendees
a. Chulalongkorn Publishing House will be launching the Release of the English Translation of "Buddhist Economics: Evolution, Theories and Its Application to Various Economic Subjects" by Apichai Puntasen, PhD.
b. Berrett-Koehler Publishers is launching the Asian release of their new book More than Money: Questions Every MBA Needs to Answer by Mark Albion, Ph.D. They have donated 3 copies of the book to be distributed to the university libraries of the first three representatives from Thai Universities.
c. The book Mindful Economics: How the US Economy Works, Why it Matters, and How it Could be Different by Joel Magnuson, Ph.D. will be available.
d. Suan Spirit will have a display of books from various authors including Ajarn Sulak, Sander Tideman, and Hazel Henderson.
